Crisp yet tender broccoli and cauliflower are dressed in a flavorful dressing of tahini, soy sauce, chili oil and more, making a quick and easy side that is also healthy and delicious.

Salad:
8 ounces broccoli, cut into small florets
8 ounces cauliflower, cut into small florets
1 teaspoon sea salt
Dressing:
2 tablespoons tahini*
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon tamari, or other soy sauce
1 teaspoon chili oil
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
4 drops stevia liquid concentrate, or to taste
*Tahini, or sesame seed paste, is available in most grocery stores.
Directions:
Bring a medium-sized pot of water to boil. Add the broccoli, cauliflower and salt. Blanch the vegetables for about 4 minutes, or until the broccoli turns bright green and is somewhat crisp yet tender.
Plunge the broccoli and cauliflower into cold water to prevent further cooking, then drain well in a colander. Arrange the vegetables on a platter.
Combine all of the dressing ingredients in a small bowl or glass jar and mix well. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and serve.
