Easy recipe for a spicy salad dressing sweetened with a little stevia.

A savory Asian-inspired dressing with just a hint of sweetness from stevia that will perfectly complement salads and slaws.

Serves: 8


Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup garlic-and-chili-flavored oil*
  • 1/4 cup organic, unrefined sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoons tamari, or other soy sauce
  • 2 drops stevia liquid concentrate (as a flavor enhancer)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum**

*Omega Nutrition Garlic-Chili Flaxseed Oil is recommended; however, you can substitute this ingredient with 1/4 cup flaxseed oil, 1 clove chopped fresh garlic, and 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper.

**A natural, gluten-free carbohydrate commonly used as a thickener.


Directions:

  1. Place all of the ingredients, except the xanthan gum, in a blender, and blend thoroughly.
  2. Add the xanthan gum, continuing to blend until the mixture has thickened.
  3. Use immediately or store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to two weeks.
